PRESQUE ISLE, ME (Mar. 8) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association 's (USSA) TD Bank Cross Country Junior Olympics opened on Monday, March 8 at Presque Isle, beginning with the men's and women's sprint. The best junior cross country athletes from USSA clubs across the country will ski hard in hopes of winning Junior Olympic gold.
The TD Bank Junior Olympics are the highest level championships for junior cross country nationwide with athletes qualifying at the divisional and regional level to earn spots.
The TD Cross Country Junior Olympics will continue through March 13 with four events, ending a season filled of stamina and drive from USSA athletes.
